We are a family of readers and a writer. Our tastes are somewhat varied between our family so we decided to take turns and write reviews on the books we're currently enjoying.
First, here is our review policy:
My tastes are all over the board. So is my frequency in reading. Yet I'm partial to history--especially when a sense of adventure is mixed in. I often switch between fiction and history and then mix in a religious text of one sort or another. I've enjoyed the works of Neil Gaiman, The Ender's Game Series by Orson Scott Card, the books by Joe Kurmaskie about bike touring and his adventures there. For history I'm partial to books written like Flag of our Fathers by James Bradley or In Harm's Way by Doug Stanton.
What Cheri likes to read:
I fancy romance mostly and in many sub-genres. I love to get lost in a good fantasy, to be enchanted by a sweet fairy tale, to get lost in a passionate paranormal, and to be entertained by a rich historical. I do tend to lean toward YA even though many of my favorites are not. But, as I said before, I prefer lots of romance in any story I settle in to. Authors I favor are Lynn Kurland, Lynsay Sands, Teresa Medeiros, Brandon Sanderson, L.J. Smith and Lisa Kelypas.
Megan likes to read:
I enjoy reading just about any young adult fantasy. I love books by authors like L.J. Smith, Cheri Schmidt, Laura Bingham, and Cassandra Clare.

First, here is our review policy:
- We'll never bash a book. Everyone has different likes and dislikes. Every writer has different strengths and weaknesses. We will try to post an honest and fair review without bashing the author. If we really dislike the book, you probably won't see a review for it here.
- We will only post a review for books we finish. We have seen some reviewers who never finish a book then post a review about it. That's not fair to the author or those reading the review. If you can't judge a book by it's cover, then you can't judge a book you haven't finished either.
- We'll accept books in printed or e-book formats for review. If you think one of us might like your book, contact us at tatterpagesreviews@gmail.com
- We'd also be happy to post author interviews and book giveaways. Again, just email us if you're interested.
